Friday night lights did not dissapoint this week as the Eagles made quick work of the Chisago Lakes Wildcats. It was also fun for Brandon to visit with old teammates and see old friends from Chisago. I must say that so many of them have grown to be men, and tall men at that. And so has Brandon, as he turned 18 on Saturday.
Friday was the perfect night for football. The crowd was overflowing from every available viewing spot, as we settled in for some good football. It was slow the first few minutes as both teams went 1,2,3 kick. Then the game got moving. Brandon had 7 tackles and a blocked punt and played well against his old team. They knew his speed and ability so they played him close when he went out for a pass. Luckily that left Jessie wide open for an easy 6 points.
